CQC Solutions can offer a complete or targeted assessment of your PPM installation, be it CA-Clarity, Mercury, EPM or Severa-3 to ensure your business is realising the maximum business and IT value from your investment. Our assessment solutions can provide either:
  • An assessment of the technical environment in which your PPM application is running
  • An analysis of your functional configuration to ensure it is set up to deliver in the way that is most effective.

Services available are:

Functionality Assessment

This assessment is designed to define the current state of your present application functionality and to index that against the best case scenario for your installation in the context of your business goals.

Our methodology involves a series of interviews with key personnel to determine current functionality and the determination of target-state requirements. This is combined with our PPM expertise in the tool being used and business insight to develop a strategy for progressing your installation.

Deliverables will be:

  • Business process advice.
  • Recommended PPM enhancement.
  • Suggested interfaces to other applications.
  • Configuration enhancement road map of the current functionality to achieve the "target state" as agreed.
  • Timescales, phasing and costs to reach the "target state".

Infrastructure Assessment

This assessment is designed to review your technical infrastructure to ensure that your architecture is optimised for the most efficient and effective operation of your PPM installation.

The assessment involves a review of your servers, databases, applications and network environments by expert CQC Technical Consultants. This is designed to determine whether there are any identified or potential performance, scaling, business continuity or training issues inherent within your current installation. 


Outsource Assessment

This assessment reviews whether your current PPM set-up is suitable to be migrated to a third-party supported environment, and highlights any areas of change and risk mitigation that are required before any migration can be implemented successfully.

Review of your current server, databases, applications and network environments to determine suitability for migration to a third party supported environment.

This assessment is similar in nature to the Infrastructure Assessment, but the emphasis is on benchmarking the current performance of your existing implementation. This enables us to monitor and control any performance improvement (or degradation) which occurs as a result of migration of your installation to an outsourced hosting provider.
